Below are three new five colour screen prints designed by
Paul Insect for this years Santas Ghetto. All three are only

(Rolling Stones) was at the Ghetto the other night,
and ended up walking away with a set of these along with

Santa's Ghetto is the unique temporary art market,
now in its fourth year. SANTAS GHETTO 2005
The Ghetto appears on a London high street each year, offering alleged
artists the chance to take a wry dig at the commercialisation of Christmas
whilst shamelessly selling their own range of moody merchandise.
The gallery includes cartoons, graffiti, prints and sculptures from such

Luke Insect has produced a new piece for upcoming exhibition 'Re-Mastered'.
Curated by Sebastian at Formavision stateside, the project features 50
international artists who were asked to reinterpret Old Masters' paintings
by recontextualizing them within contemporary culture. The show has been
previewing at the DIESEL gallery in San Francisco so far and also features
work by Bast, WK Interact, Faile, Phil Knot and Sunday Vision. The full
website is going live early December at www.remastered.org.
Luke's piece is a contemporary re-working of 'St George and the dragon' by
Paolo Ucello. This time, however, George is far from saintly, see if you
recognise him!
Each piece will be available as a large format matte print in a limited run
of 50.

Luke Insect's band WOLVES are playing live at VICE mag's OLD BLUE LAST pub
in Shoreditch on Friday 16th September. The CLUB WHATEVER night also

The new issue of Brussels-based magazine VOXER is out now, featuring a front

INSECT had a great bank holiday weekend in our beloved city - the Cross
Central festival was a massive success again - we managed to catch rocking
performances from Lady Sovereign, Jamie Lidell, Kano, Goldfrapp, Grace
Jones, The Bees etc. etc. over the 2 days - shouts out to Rich and Billy for
holding the whole thing together again - looking forward to next year! We
also managed to make it over West for the Carnival for way too much jerk chick

WORLDWIDE. The 100 page deluxe guide is bound in heavyweight uncoated

We managed to survive the all day MTV party yesterday at The Old Truman
Brewery, Brick Lane, London - and caught up with old INSECT friends CLOR
and JAMIE LIDELL, who both played rocking sets. The 10 artworks we
produced for the VIP room went down very well so we're thinking of turning a
few into screen prints later in the year (see slideshow - Click the image below)

We've just received the first copy of 'Plug Zine', new contemporary visual
culture magazine from China which has been put together by Joyn Design in
Australia, Q2design in the US and Nexus in China. This issue features
artists such as Parisydneytokyo, INSECT, Saiman Chow, Kam Tang, :Phunk,
Genevieve Gauckler, Toca Me, and Tom Muller to name a few. And what a
magazine it is! Containing 10 pages of our new work, it is ltd to only 2000
copies and comes in its own stitched bag, along with 2 posters, 2 stickers,
2 badges and 4 bookmarks! The issue was launched at the greatly received
first design EXPO in China called 'getitlouder'. Great things are happening
out in China in the design scene at the moment, and its been great to be
involved.

The 100 page deluxe guide is bound in heavyweight uncoated board with screen-printed plastic leaves and brass binders!
